Juno Beach Centre
The Juno Beach Centre is one of the few museums dedicated to the Canadian forces in Normandy. It provides an overview of Canada’s history before and during the Second World War. The museum serves as an introduction to the events leading up to WWII and the invasion of Normandy.

Tank One Charlie
Tank One Charlie was a Churchill AVRE tank that landed on Juno Beach on D-Day, June 6, 1944, but was knocked out shortly after moving inland. Today, the restored tank stands at Graye-sur-Mer as a memorial to its crew and to the Canadian soldiers who fought on Juno Beach.

Amphibious tank on D-Day
Was a heavily defended spot facing the front shore of the village of Courseulles sur mer. Here the troops from the Regina Rifle landed on DDAY. You will see one of the last Amphibious tanks visible today that sunk on June 6, 1944.

Canadian House
This is the most famous area of Juno Beach: The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada landed in front of this village and it’s where you will find the iconic « Canadian House ». The infantry faced a 2-meter sea wall which is still visible today. You will also learn about the French Canadians of the Regiment la Chaudière.

Bény-sur-Mer Cemetery
Over 2,000 Canadian soldiers mostly from the 3rd Canadian Division are buried here including brothers. Learn the tragic destiny of some of these men in their final resting place of Beny-sur-Mer.

Moving forward
The 14th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery landed at Bernières‑sur‑Mer on D-Day, June 6, 1944, providing crucial fire support for Canadian infantry. The unit was tragically ambushed while moving inland. The memorial at Bernières‑sur‑Mer honors the regiment’s bravery and the soldiers who were killed or wounded that day. It stands as a lasting tribute to their sacrifice and their role in the liberation of Normandy.

Authie
Follow the path of the North Nova Scotia Highlanders as they made their way to the French village of Authie. They were brutally stopped by an infamous 12th SS Division counterattack.

Abbaye d’Ardenne
Kurt Meier Headquarters from where he led the attack on Authie. A garden of remembrance was created where the remains of Canadians POW’s were found executed by the SS troops.
