Our historical partner WWII Veteran’s Memories will take you from the museum in a vintage military vehicle dating from the 1940s. Aboard a vintage Dodge, you’ll travel the back roads of the Normandy bocage and then Carentan in the footsteps of the legendary 101st Airborne. Your guide will explain the historical facts, relate them to the places and tell you anecdotes during a unique one-hour and 15-minute walk.

You’ll take small roads and lanes, discover the marshland and bocage landscapes that made the battle so difficult, and come across monuments and architectural features from the era that are still clearly visible… During this tour, our enthusiastic driver-guide will tell you all about history and its anecdotes.

• In case of rain and depending on the intensity, the vehicle is covered (Uncovered in good weather).
• A running board is available for boarding the vehicle.
• The rear seats are made of wood.
